WHAT I GOT FOR CHRISTMAS 2017!

I wanted to share with you what I got this Christmas, this year I got more things that what I'm used to, mainly because I usually get clothes for this time of the year but this year I got more object-like gifts! And I tought to share them with you guys:

❅ DREAMY XMAS WISHLIST ! ❅

Hello there!, just like last year I've gathered a group of items I would must probably get for myself this christmas, IF I could haha! There are many things that I've recently just eyed from some websites, and there are also things I've been eyeing during the whole year!

BEST WINTER DRY SKIN BITCH ROUTINE !!

If you are, like me, a dry skin bitch, you need to follow this steps ASAP!. This winter has been harsh where I live, I haven't felt this cold in my town for at least four years, so imagine my skin which is already dry, used to the warmest weathers, feeling the freezing air. It totally got burned out! obvs. So I had added some products that have really helped to ease out the season, for my skin.

1.- First off, I exfoliate my face, whether I have make up or not, with my Nivea Purifying Wash Gel, and warm water. It's very easy on the skin, does not dry it up at all.

2.- What do I use to take my make up off? Well, Garnier's Micellar Cleansing Water, I found it left my skin mousturized enough without being that oily. I first used the Oleo version but I guessed it was a special edition and I havent found it again yet, but this one is just as good. 

3.- After that, and this is the *KEY COMPONENT*, I use a cotton pad to apply almond oil all over my face. That's right, almond oil.

4.- Before applying my make up I do exactly the same, minus the Micellar Water, and right before doing it, I apply some almond oil or Clinique's moisturizing lotion. This one will keep you all moisturized for sure.

Well this were my little tips and beauty secrets I wanted to share with you, I have very dry skin and I know how maddening it can be in the winter time.

I look at it and feel so inspired and ready for summer. If you knew me you'd know I usually try to scape summer rather than get exited for it, but I feel different know, more hopeful, if you will. Hello there! I haven't been that active here and I know, believe me! But I've been so busy with school and agh, but this week has been extraordinary, not only did I eat cake twice but it was my dear mother's birthday and also mother's day, and maybe you don't know me that well but I ADORE my mother, truly 🌹.
So here is a petite wishlist (petite like her).

I LOVE yellow but I honestly always stray away from it because I consider it very bright and flamboyant in general, but I've made a promise that this year I will not try to hide and go unnoticed, I want to shine and reflect the light that lives within me, and that helped me go through depressiona and anxiety the last few years.

HUGE (sort of) APRIL WISHLIST 2017 !!

As the excitement of the fashion weeks from all over the world fades... the awareness of the master pieces and trends we have all seen walking down the runway has finally came to settle in our eyes, minds, and hearts. As sad and hurtful the reality is, I'm probably never going to be able to buy some hot pieces that I loved, not at least the second I see them right off the runway. Alessandro Michele presented at the Gucci Hub, the Fall 2017 collection, the theme?
"The Alchemist's Garden: an anti-modern laboratory." and what a garden it was. Both, women and men, futuristic in Gucci and, yet, earthy and ethereal. Only The Man could do it, seriously.

But *Carrie Bradshaw's voice* I couldn't help but wonder.... could a normal and definetely unexpensive retailer/store could send that especific vibe and bring that escence to life? we'll see.

The thing about traveling...

As one of my main new year's resolutions is indeed, traveling...

I decided to make a post about the subject.

I may no be the luckiest girl, but something I have had the pleasure to experience it's the joy of traveling. Flying or by road, to travel is one of the most enjoyable things life can offer.

Everything from, the food you taste, the flavours you smell, the people you meet, even the weather, it all seems magical. Everything takes such unexpleainable and extraordinary form you as a consequence want to capture the joy of vivre the moment wakes in you, so you photograph it, or snap it for a more informal use of the word. But can you actually capture it?

I cannot belive so.
I remember what I saw with my eyes and, yet the minute I develop my camara's film, I don't see it enough. I don't see the totality of the cloudy sky that seem to devour us and the road, I don't feel the cold wind that swept the grass and its beautiful flowers, I can't see the shepherd and his sheep in the faraway hill, but maybe that is fault of my dear old Nikon, right?
It's such a shame that what I saw with my own eyes, the camera will never be able to really capture it, isn't it?.

2017 Resolutions list, or as I call it, a 20/20.

As the 2017 begins to take it's complete form....
I decided to create a sort of resolutions list for the year ahead, I know it's rather cliché but in my defense I can almost swear I've never done one. I can't really think of a -why-, but I suppose I always thought of them crappy and actually counterproductive.
It started yesterday at very late hours in the night when I was watching a YouTube video and scrolling down the comment section I read about a woman and her new year's resolution list, she said she was 20 and therefore she wrote down 20 purposes for 2k17. Well, I am 19 but soon I'll be 20, so here I am making what I would call a 20/20 list, it's short, it's easy to complete, and obviously something to look forward for the year. I find it very important to have easy acheaving goals, as someone who suffers ansiety I can't really stop thinking about the future and at the same time I can't think that far ahead nor that specifically, because as you would all know, future is uncertain and to put that complecate of a goal in a far away future will probably lead me to a well known insanity, so let's just be easy on our owns and do an easy/happy/hopeful 20/20.

20/20:

1.- Read (at least) 20 books

in the 20's fashion, amirite?

2.- travel with friends

3.-be more active in the feminist community

(this one is a MUST)

4.- to reach below 2 kilos from my goal weight

just before my birthday

(which I am indeed very close from)

5.-to travel more

(this one is a bit tricky because I depend on my parents but I pray for them to be blessed and be able to afford a travel or more)

6.- speaking of traveling, I would LOVE to travel to an unknown country (unknown for me, obviously) 

7.-own stuff I've always wanted to purchase

(I will probably make a "product widget" so  that you can see what my heart desires)

8.- 3 concerts and a music festival

9.-watch a total of 365 movies

I'll do a movie post at the end of each month so you (and I) can make a recount and review of the movies I saw earlier in the month.

10.- to learn a piano song (?) every two months

(I studied it many years but I've never come around that
I am actually good at it)

11.- learn another language

12.- obtain a perfect, rather, parfait french accent

13.- 1 crafty project every month

14.- have a *TREAT YO SELF* moment every month

(dying my hair, doing my nails, buying an entire cake for moi, et)

15.- re-decor my room

(pretty basic, amirite ladies?)

16.- start going to an art class of sorts

17.- be kind and patient with myself -this one is hard-

18.- start (really)going to the gym

19.- invest in some self-confidence

20.- do everything that makes me HAPPY!
